I Compose.
Sometimes with words, images, movement or space.
But mostly with musical instruments and musicians.
To be a bit more descriptive, I write experimental music for acoustic and electroacoustic
constellations.
But I find labels unecessary and restricting.
I studied composition at the Norwegian
Academy of Music (NMH), and have
freelanced a few years as a composer.
In recent years my music has been played
at Ultima, Klang, UNM and Nordic Music Days.
I've have had the pleasure of working with amazing
musicians, among else Pinquins, Cikada and
Trondheim Symfoniorkester.
I just finished a piece for
the
300-year
anniversary of my hometown
Arendal,
with musicians from
Kristiansand
Symfoniorkester and Agder
Camerata
... and am currently writing a piece for grand piano
and live electronics for Eirik Hellerdal Fosstveit.
